Want a truck or Jeep that turns heads without turning your commute into a chore? We’re live from the Houston Auto Show with the crew from Texas Truckworks to map out upgrades that deliver real value: two-inch leveling kits for a cleaner stance, right-size tires for comfort and grip, and bed covers that earn their keep every single day. We get tactical about wheels that won’t punish ride quality, sidewall that protects on rough roads, and setups that keep your highway manners intact while adding weekend capability.

The conversation goes beyond parts into purpose. We talk building for trails over mud, why overlanding and rock crawling reward preparation, and how clubs help new drivers gain skills without breaking parts. You’ll hear how women are reshaping Jeep culture—leading trail runs, organizing charity rides, and building confident rigs. Then we open the hood on the purist debate around engine swaps, comparing brand-loyal Hemi or Coyote builds with LS conversions, and explain when tuning, exhaust, and cooling upgrades are smarter than chasing peak horsepower.

We wrap with a rapid-fire market pulse: surprising recall alerts owners should check now, and a “guess the price” classic car roundup that drops jaws—a clean ’69 GTO Judge, a survivor-grade Mopar with a shaker hood, a depreciated Porsche sedan, and more. The lesson repeats across every segment: match the build to your life, verify the details, and iterate with intention.

If you’re planning your first upgrade or refining a seasoned rig, this one’s packed with practical advice, real-world numbers, and a few hot takes to sharpen your plan. Enjoy the ride, then subscribe, leave a rating, and share this episode with a friend who’s about to order wheels they’ll regret.

Live From The Houston Auto Show

SPEAKER_03

Welcome to another In Wheel Time podcast. It's the In Wheel Time Car Talk Show today, coming to you from the 43rd annual Houston Auto Show. Just ahead. We got a couple of guests. I think you'll be interested in the end of those big jacked-up trucks. Maybe just a mild little makeover of your truck. We got the guys to talk to. And uh we'll have some of our popular features as well. So we hope you'll stay with us. Howdy, along with Mike out of this world Mars. We always need more Jab Zekin. Chief Engineer David Ainsley is with us today. I'm Don Armstrong. Glad you could join us. We appreciate you taking the time out of your day. Are you driving down the road? Are you listening online? Good. Thank you very much. We appreciate it. This is our third hour today. We had the bonus hour at the beginning at nine o'clock before anyone arrived. And let me tell you something. We found out really quick, once they opened the doors and they pulled in all of the cars that are going through the ram display and the Jeep display that opened the doors. Had to get out in my jacket. Yeah. It's cold, man. Yeah. You know, it's cold out there. So it's a great day to be indoors.

SPEAKER_05

Big boys are wearing shorts, but you've got a parka on.

SPEAKER_03

I know. Well, they close the doors and it's nice and comfy in here. And I'm nice and comfy in my little parka.

unknown

Parka?

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_05

So you got your mucklucks on on there, buddy?

SPEAKER_03

I don't have any mucklucks. That's David's David's thing, mucklucks. Nobody knows down here, they don't know what mucklucks are. Did you ever have mucklucks? I never had mucklucks. His microphone's not on. I think.

Meet Texas Truckworks: Who They Are

SPEAKER_05

Do what? There we go. Yeah. Yeah. I think you can get shots for that. Mucklucks. So Larry Booster.

SPEAKER_03

Larry Baldwin is with us, and uh Marshall Booker is with us as well, Texas Truckworks. So you work at Texas Truckworks.

SPEAKER_06

I've worked at Texas TruckWorks uh 17 years now.

SPEAKER_03

17 years. And they're still not getting shots that'll keep you from that. And and you um are a customer.

SPEAKER_02

I am. You've been a customer for almost 15 years, and I help out these kind of events, and we travel to Moab and do some of the Jeep events, the truck events. Absolutely, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

They get to go out and have all the fun. Yeah. Yeah, he would be stuck in the streets. And you're stuck back at the store.

SPEAKER_06

You build what he drives. Correct. Exactly.

SPEAKER_03

So um, where are you guys located up at Texas Truckworks?

SPEAKER_06

We're at the back of the woodlands, between the woodlands and Magnolia. Okay. And what what road is that? 2978, just south of 1488. There you go. I've been up there.

SPEAKER_05

Uh you had a what you had the big truck. You had a monster truck at one time?

SPEAKER_02

Uh no, that's the owner, Scott Stevens. Scott Stevens. The King Crunch driver. His son now drives for Monster Jam, the Thunder Rorus truck.

SPEAKER_05

Right, right, right. So what truck?

SPEAKER_02

Thunder Rorus.

SPEAKER_05

Thunder Roras. Thunder Aurorus. Now you all are coming here next weekend or in two weeks here?

SPEAKER_02

No, I think the next two weekends. Yeah. Yeah. There'll be a Monster Jam show at the NRG Stadium. Gotcha. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. We're across the street over here at NRG Center. That's it.

SPEAKER_05

It's just a massive competition. I get lost coming to the state. It's huge. So Larry with me on that.

Leveling Kits, Bed Covers, And Daily-Driver Mods

SPEAKER_03

Larry, let's talk about Texas Truck Works and find out about what you guys do up there. I know that you don't necessarily do nothing but trucks, because you do other things as well.

SPEAKER_06

Trucks and Jeeps are the hot item, but we really do anything. If you need uh commercial fleet work, we do that. If you need a trailer hitch, if you need a set of mud flaps, yeah, anything aftermarket, we do.

SPEAKER_03

What what is what is the number one thing that you guys do? That the biggest moneymaker that you have? Probably bed covers. Bed covers. I was waiting for you to say, well, uh, yeah, we do uh lifts.

SPEAKER_06

Lift, tires, wheels, leveling is much more popular than the lifts. There's so many trucks leveled.

SPEAKER_03

What a level. Leveling, yes. Right.

SPEAKER_06

So air suspensions? Yeah, we do a little bit of that for the heavy hauling loads. Uh the air helper bags to go in the back. Uh the level kit just brings the front end two inches so that the truck sits flat, or you can lower the rear two inches. Yeah, I see a lot of them with the back end.

SPEAKER_05

Is that against the law or something?

SPEAKER_06

I don't know. It doesn't make sense to me to see it out here.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I see them though.

SPEAKER_06

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

So tell me about you and how you got involved in this message.

SPEAKER_02

I've always loved four-wheel drive, jeeps, and trucks since I was a little kid, like most little kids. And uh just when I got enough to, you know, swipe the credit cards, and you know, we just it never ends what you start with, oh, I won't change the wheels or tires, and then the bumpers, and then lights, and you know, off-road lockers and things like that. I know all about all of that, yes, of course. Just when you think you're done, oh I think I'm done with it. You see something else somebody else has, oh, I want to do it. Or that doesn't go good with this anymore. I want to change it out.

SPEAKER_03

I'm a Corvette owner, I know. It's a slipway cloud, yes, sir. Yeah, exactly. So do you have a real job?

SPEAKER_02

I'm an airline pilot for uh United. I'm a captain on the 737 here at Intercontinental. Well, that's not here, that's up there. Well, I mean here in Houston. Yeah, yeah. But uh too technical. The day that feels like a real job, I'm gonna equip. So we have fun and do all the Jeep things, they're able to travel and flexible schedule, and it's a lot of fun. We've done the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab. It's always the week before Easter every year, it's whenever Easter is. Right. And it's just Jeep is there with prototypes and all the vendors, and it's just a good time with off-roading we do rock crawling and overlanding, not the mudding. We don't do all that stuff. That's a lot. You break stuff and you're you're cleaning for weeks. I was just gonna say is we've got to get the hose out all the time. You'll never get it all.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's a different type of clientele. It's a different exactly.

SPEAKER_02

They're out there and there's you know a need for it. So, what is your daily driver? Uh I have a 2014 Jeep that I use, and I have a RAM truck that I also drive. Yeah. But we have everything we have is Mopar, Stellanus, Dodge, and RAM and Jeep. Yep.

SPEAKER_06

He also has the new 392 Hemi Jeep.

SPEAKER_02

Two of the Jeeps are over at the Texas Truckworks display. Okay. Oh, you got a display here. Yes, we're right on the back here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, on the other side, yeah. Okay. Well that's handy. So it's wonder who, huh. Imagine you being over here by the Jeeps and the RAMs, and you've got your funny how that works out. Yeah, it's funny how that works out. Um so I've got a brand new theory or theoretically. Theoretically, you do. I have a brand new RAM 1500 with a HEMI in it. Got a Hemi in it. Yes, right. And I kind of want to, you know, make it my own. I want everybody to know, hey, that's Don's car. Truck.

Building Jeeps For Trails Without The Mess

SPEAKER_06

Well, depending on how you're going to use it.

SPEAKER_03

I know, but you know, I don't have an unlimited budget here. And so I think that the first thing I want is I I want to get some tires and wheels. Because that seems to be the most popular thing to do to make it yourself. Right.

SPEAKER_06

Again, put a little level kit to bring the front end up two inches, then brand new 20s.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so how much does it cost to bring the front end up by two inches?

SPEAKER_06

There's different options way to do it, but it's less than a thousand dollars.

SPEAKER_03

Less than a thousand bucks. Yeah. Okay, got that. You can go more, you can go less, but a thousand bucks is generally speaking. Yes.

SPEAKER_06

That's it. An average. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Now I don't want to go some, you know, high dollar three-piece wheels. I don't care about that. You know what I'm talking about? I'm a regular guy. And now I'm gonna have to get something bigger, you know. So I'm gonna have to buy some new tires to go with it. You guys do that too? Absolutely.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, and do some 20s with uh about a 33-inch tall tire. Uh depending on whether you're using it.

SPEAKER_03

I don't like rubber band tires. No, no, we don't either.

SPEAKER_06

We're not fans of the 24s to 26s. That's what I prefer.

SPEAKER_03

This is old, this is just me talking. Um was it the Jeep? Was it a Jeep Wrangler or was it a truck? I don't remember. But off-road, it was it had smaller wheels. Of course, they were three-piece, but I don't need that. Just the look is good. Smaller wheels with big fat tires on them. Looked like I could go anywhere there. Exactly. That's that's my look. Right.

SPEAKER_06

Right, and on a Jeep, I'd say do 17s, not do the 20s. Right. But still a 33. But no 35. 35. Not on a Jeep, but one at 35, yes.

SPEAKER_02

At least 35, 37, up to 42-inch tires.

SPEAKER_03

I don't want any rubbing. I don't want to have to do any major modifications yet. But I want that look, you know.

SPEAKER_06

Yep. But like I say, if you're doing the truck, the level kit just gonna run up and down the highway as good and perfect as they did when you drove it off the lot on the Jeep. You go a little taller, you make it your own. But if you still need to run 80 miles an hour to San Antonio and back, you can.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, that's what I want. You would need a winch because you're probably gonna get stuck. We do sell winches.

SPEAKER_03

I am stuck, I'm stuck on this car show. That's what I'm stuck on. Um so okay, so do you have guys like me that want to come in there and do that sort of thing? That is our customer.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, that is what we do. The everyday guys, yeah. Wow. That's how you got started. Yes, sir, yeah. Shade. Drive it all week and then play on the weekends and be able to drive it home and do the trails you want to do and join a club. Absolutely. Yeah, off the Jeep clubs. Yeah, they're endless.

SPEAKER_05

I had a customer of mine that used to live in California. He's moved to Texas with a family business, big business, and he goes to Arizona with his Jeep. He's been to Moab, but he goes out there like once a month and does whatever they do, the trails, right, rock climbing and stuff like that. He's got a couple. Uh they don't look like jeeps, they look like they're made to do they look like they'll hurt you, you know.

Choosing Wheels And Tires That Actually Work

SPEAKER_06

Well, that's the beauty of the Jeep is you build it for what you do with it. Exactly. If you need to go get groceries, or if you want to go climb the mountains, Jeep will do it.

SPEAKER_03

You know, and don't get me wrong, I mean I love brand new Jeeps. But gosh, I I'm good with one that's got about 35,000 miles on it. That no the person that owned it before, they haven't done a thing to it except drove it and changed the oil in it. That's it. Right. That's where I want to start. So do you have customers that you help like that? All the time. Okay. Yes.

SPEAKER_05

And my question is, do you what is a obviously it's more guys than girls coming in? Not as much as it used to be. Okay. It's catching up. That's my question is absolutely what is the balance?

SPEAKER_06

No, is the Jeep girls becoming more and more popular, and that's why you'll see the pink Jeeps running up down the highways. You go to the Jeep Club events and they'll be able to 50-50.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we do when we do the trail stuff, we have multiple Jeeps. So my wife has been starting to drive some and get confidence, she loves it. And then there's women's runs that we do on some trails and you know, some charity events like that, uh things to do. But yeah, it's the women are really they're stepping up on uh catching us up on the city.

SPEAKER_05

That would be a good interview for future, you know. Yeah, some of the Jeep ladies put jeep in touch with that.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. What's the most popular motor? Not the 392. That that's that's a weirdo. That's the thing. That's that's a Don Armstrong. No, I got that. But um the V6 or the 4?

SPEAKER_06

The V6, and that's when in 2012 when Jeep JK went to that 3.6 finestar, that's when it had enough power, it rode good, it drove good, and Jeeps really started selling well.

SPEAKER_03

And what year is that?

SPEAKER_06

12.

SPEAKER_03

2012.

SPEAKER_06

2012. And are they still putting that in, or is it available? It's still the same motor. Yep. Now there's multiple options there for a long time. That was the only option, but now there's the multiples. Uh okay, okay.

SPEAKER_03

We know the 392.

SPEAKER_02

392, the turbo diesel for a while and the 2.0 liter. 2.0 and then the electric. Yeah, the four by E's.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, well that that's the thing.

SPEAKER_05

That's a different conversation, correct. You know, you've been talking about maybe parting with your Corvette for a while. You've been talking about the code. Would I go back to a Jeep? No. No, I was gonna say, maybe that's maybe that's just add it. Absolutely not. No. No, the Corvette's his baby, garage camp covered, and all this stuff.

SPEAKER_03

Well, yeah, it's 25 years old and it's got 35,000 miles on it. It's okay for now. Sure, sure. You know. Uh the only big problem that I have is that left knee for the clutch. Oh, sure. Yeah, there's that. Oh, you you don't have anything to talk about.

SPEAKER_05

He's wearing shit. He's a young man. He's wearing shits.

SPEAKER_03

He's a young man.

SPEAKER_05

He's a pilot, so he's got to have both feet going, you know.

Women In Jeep Culture And Club Life

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah. This is true. Doing barrel rolls and I'm good. I'm going the I'm going the route of uh, you know, a Cadillac CT. Absolutely. That's where I am at the end. Heated seats. Yes. That's where I am at this point in my life. Something that's, you know, three years old. I'm good. I'm good. Perfect. Yeah, I'm not trying to impress anybody, but uh I could see you in a Jeep.

SPEAKER_05

I could see you. And I had a Jeep. Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_03

Uh a long time ago. Gosh, about 1980. And I bought it off the showroom floor at Archer.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

With Archer Jeep on 59. Bought it off the showroom floor. White with a black vinyl interior, two-door. Of course, that's all they had back then. Right. And it had the Pontiac four-cylinder engine in it.

SPEAKER_06

Yep, but it had square headlights and leaf spring.

SPEAKER_03

No, it did not have square headlights. No. No. No, well, no, no, not no square headlights.

SPEAKER_05

Well, only real jeeps have round headlights. That's right. Yeah. I've learned that.

SPEAKER_03

How many years did they put those square headlights in? Two, three? Seven years. Too many.

SPEAKER_05

We got a one-year answer over here.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, well, whatever. It was the wall. That's that that yeah, that's just wrong on every level. Um, and the four-cylinder engine, it was puny. Yeah. Yeah. It need it needed more oomph.

SPEAKER_06

Well, those were built for playing. Those were not built for driving.

SPEAKER_03

Oh.

SPEAKER_06

And the new Jeeps are built for driving. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, that particular one had uh locking front axles off. They had to get out and turn it and turn the knobs. What a pain that was. I had a pickup truck like that, yeah. Yeah, so we're done with that. So do you guys do any engine work? We do. What kind of engine work?

SPEAKER_06

Tuning, mainly. Mainly. So air boxes and things like that. A little bit of air boxes, a little bit of exhaust. More, we probably do more engine swaps. Really? Engine swaps. Putting the Hemis in the Jeeps. So do you do your own work or you take it to him and do it? I take it to them.

SPEAKER_02

Or do you don't wrench on your own? I wish. I'll mess it up. So I trust you're not going to be able to do that. You do not say LS. Put LS's in Jeeps. Absolutely not. Absolutely. Absolutely not.

SPEAKER_03

I'm on your side.

SPEAKER_02

What? Yep. You'll see Jeeps with Corvette engines in them.

unknown

Shh.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I could see that. I would, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, that's another world that uh I'm not part of that world. I believe it if it comes as a Ford, it needs to have a Ford motor. And I like a coyote engine. Why not? Let's do that. Absolutely. I'm good with that.

Engines, Swaps, And The Purist Debate

SPEAKER_06

Not that I'm a Ford guy, but we've also done Hellcats in Jeeps.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you can put a coyote in a Jeep. You can put a Hellcat in a Jeep. That's fine. It's the same bloodline. I got all that. Exactly. Yeah, I just can't I can't do that. It's too much.

SPEAKER_06

I'm under agreement with you, but if that's what the customer wants, I know. I know.

SPEAKER_03

It's a payday, and I get I get that. Oh, I got an LS. No.

SPEAKER_02

We even had more like to do an old stroker engine in them, like a GM engine in older Jeeps. You see those are some rock crawlers. Yeah. A little simple to work on, you know, like no tech or anything, so there are people like those because you can get anything off the shelf to repair. That's true. Some people like that too.

SPEAKER_03

Something with a carburetor on. Exactly. If you can find anybody that knows how to work on a carburetor, well, you know, I I'm not going to admit to that, but uh I've been known to mess with it a time or two.

SPEAKER_05

This is the wrong show to find that out. You need to go to a hot rod show or a cruise in to find out all those guys. Those guys do that in that world more than we do, absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

So you do you guys go to that uh that big uh truck show up at uh uh Codro? Oh Long Star? Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Yep. So people that are listening that are into trucks, you can come in here and get you a truck. There's one right over there. Right. Yep. Take it right over there, do some wings bang magic to it over there.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't get your boat, we'll pull the boy, help you pull the boat. So it's funny you should have a lot of things.

SPEAKER_05

You know, maybe you should get a boat and put it on a trailer back here and say, this is your package.

SPEAKER_06

Well, if you haven't seen our display, we have a 53-foot trailer with three Jeeps on it.

SPEAKER_05

I haven't been over there yet. We're gonna we're gonna go we're gonna go look at that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, come see us.

SPEAKER_03

And then you're supposed to follow that up by saying, come see us, come see us, come see us, and save.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Let's not forget that. Well, gents, it's uh he's waving at you. Well, gents, it's been uh a pleasure.

SPEAKER_02

Appreciate it. Good talk to you guys. Thank you very much. A lot of fun, great event. We've been here all week. We'll be here tomorrow, too. We'll come back all week. Absolutely, thank you. Thank you. Awesome, thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you. Thank you, guys. We appreciate you. Larry Baldwin and uh Marshall Booker, appreciate you, the pilot.

SPEAKER_05

Yep.

So this is our bonus. Well, normally it's not a bonus hour. We did that in the 9 o'clock hour, but this is our third hour of the show. So we've moved some stuff around. Normally this would be in our two-hour show. But uh I wanted to give you the story of the week so we could kind of talk about that. Uh Elon Musk's SpaceX is considering a potential merger with Tesla as well as an alternative combination with artificial intelligence company XAI, according to Bloomberg News.

SPEAKER_05

Go, I'm just looking at him.

Musk’s Empire And Auto Industry Shakeups

SPEAKER_03

They keep they point fingers at SpaceX and XAI are said to be in discussions to merge ahead of a public offering planned this year to bring Musk's rockets, Starlink satellites, the X social media platform, and Droc AI chatbot under one roof. The space firm has discussed the feasibility of a tie-up between SpaceX and EV maker Tesla, an idea that some investors are pushing, according to Bloomberg. Discussions are a sign that Musk, the world's richest man, is weighing how to consolidate his empire. Musk is CEO of SpaceX and XAI. Which all has controlled, uh which controls X. He also runs Tesla, Tunnel Company, the Boring Company, and Neurotechnology firm NeuroLink. SpaceX, a massive deal, may complicate its IPO, but add momentum to efforts to launch data centers into orbit. A key goal in the escalating AI race against open AI meta platforms and Alphabets Google. I could see all of this happening. What will happen to Tesla? I think Tesla will continue, but they my prediction is they're going to stop making the Tesla truck. Yeah, probably. That is not turned into the room. Either that or put it underneath the blast-off rocket so it could melt and see what's going to happen to it at that point. When they go to Mars, they can drive it around. So Benjamin Miller is joining us today. He's gonna, we're gonna interview him about the classic car display that's here at NRG, but we're also gonna pull him in because uh we're gonna do the Hemings Sold Car Weekly Roundup. Little thing that we do. Guess the sold car price. But right after, I give you this week's recalls, including the Rivian. Secured seatbelt retractor assemblies. Uh-oh. Martha, it won't go in.

SPEAKER_05

It's not gonna fit.

Recalls You Should Know Right Now

SPEAKER_03

Rivian R1S and the Rivian R1T recalled, 22 to 26 model years. Ford couldn't go a day without having a Ford recall. Ford Escape and Focus 2013 to 2019. Engine block heater may short circuit and cause a fire. We did that last week, along with the Lincoln MKC. And uh also the Ford Explorer in Focus, so they've expanded it 2019, 2016 actually to 2024. Uh Lucid Gravity, 2025 and 26, rear view camera image may not display. And instrument panel display failure on every Genesis known to man, including Genesis himself. Um properly welded door strikers in the Nissan Ultima, Frontier, Kicks and Sentra, 25 to 26, and Chevy Blazer EV. Damaged parking brake wiring harness. Martha, you smell something burning in here? Uh there's those. Okay. Now let's get to the sold cars roundup, shall we? Um so it's a little game that we play that I'm gonna give you the the model year and the car, and uh some added features uh tidbits. Uh he's gonna display it up there for it all to see, and you're gonna guess the sold car price. Okay? So first up today is a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette. It's got sidepipes and it looks like it's got knockoff wheels. Uh they're probably fake, and uh this is probably not a stock car. My guess is it's a resto mod that looks really stock, but I don't think it is. How much do you think a 65 Chevy Corvette? Clean, it looks black, and it looks stock. How much do you think that's sold for?

SPEAKER_05

I'll go first. I watch Barrett Jackson, I'm gonna go 75 grand.

Guess The Sold Price: Classic Car Roundup

SPEAKER_03

75 grand? Yes, sir. Mr. Mars, do you have a guess? Oh no, you can't guess. No, he's yeah, he put up the picture.

SPEAKER_04

Jim Heitzman said that he thinks 25,000.

SPEAKER_03

25,000.

SPEAKER_04

I'd say 50.

SPEAKER_03

50. Well, it's sold for 63,000.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So we're it's a tweeter between.

SPEAKER_03

It's a tweeter between them. Okay. Next one up is Jeff's car. All right. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a 1973 Cadillac El Dorado convertible. Priceless. Yeah, it's priceless and it's uh has no end to the length of it. Uh, how much do you think something like that would sell for? Now this looks like it's been around the block a couple of times. It's a parade car is what they did.

SPEAKER_04

It's an official pace car for something. They did it, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, pace car for what? Uh the uh uh the Motor Week 100 or something somewhere. It doesn't make any difference.

SPEAKER_05

What do you think that 73? 25 grand.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Jeff Heitzman says 31. 31. Ben?

SPEAKER_01

18.

SPEAKER_03

Guess what, Ben? 18, 375. You the man. That's why I pulled you in on it. And that's why he's got a classic car show. Okay, that's it. All right, next up, let's do a 2014 Porsche Panamera. Now, this is the this is the uh the four-door version. Okay. It's the only version, but the Porsche Panamera.

SPEAKER_04

What year is it?

SPEAKER_03

It's uh 2014, so it's 12 years old.

SPEAKER_04

Main thing is it's four doors. It's four doors.

SPEAKER_03

I'm thinking. Okay. So what do you think something like that would sell for?

SPEAKER_01

How many miles?

SPEAKER_03

Don't have the miles. Don't have the miles. I'm gonna go 21. 21.

SPEAKER_01

David Lust says 59k. 59k. I'm gonna go 35.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, well, I selected this car because of the price. It sold for$12,075. Exactly. I that's what I that was my reaction, going, what? Okay. Next up, a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. And I will tell you, based on the price, it's probably uh uh original? It's it's it's probably an original. Yeah, it's probably an original. It's probably had a repaint, would be my guess. Yeah, um, but it looks stock. Pontiac Judge. However, it doesn't have those great big things across the wheel openings.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, the uh the uh stickers, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, whatever. Um so 69, Pontiac GTO Judge.

SPEAKER_05

32.

SPEAKER_03

32. Would you like to guess? I don't have mileage.

SPEAKER_01

It says 37,000.

SPEAKER_03

37,000? Ben's going.

SPEAKER_01

I'm going higher. I I think 70.

SPEAKER_03

$63,000. Ben!

SPEAKER_04

David Love came in at 29, so everybody was kind of under their okay.

SPEAKER_03

Next up next up is a white pickup truck, 1997 model year, Chevrolet K 1500. Four by four. Uh-huh, yeah. Four by four. And uh I picked this because it is a standard two-door pickup truck. Okay. And it's a 1500, so it's a half ton.

SPEAKER_04

It's got a big cover or something on it, Z71. Whatever. Whatever.

SPEAKER_01

How many miles?

SPEAKER_03

Don't have the miles. I I I picked it because uh partially because of the price that it sold for. 12,000. 12,000, Jeff says.

SPEAKER_04

17.

SPEAKER_03

17?

SPEAKER_04

Jeff Heisman says 30.

SPEAKER_03

Well, he Jeff Heisman is close. 25,358. It's clean, it looks stock. It's got some steps on the side of it. That's about it. Okay, next up, 1970 Plymouth Batacuda.

unknown

All right.

SPEAKER_03

This is probably an all-original car, and it looks like it has not been repainted. It looks completely stock and original. Don't be shy.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

I'm gonna go 75 grand. It's got a shaker hood on it. 75 shamole. 75.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Next anybody, anybody. 250.

SPEAKER_04

How much? 250. 250? Jeff Heitzman says 39,000.

SPEAKER_03

It sold for$187,975. That's why I made it a point to say I think it looks like it may be a Hall Original. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and it it could be a$440 or I don't know what it is. Can't really tell. Can't read it good enough.

SPEAKER_05

Big dent in that right quarter. You never see it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_03

All right, next up, uh 2014 Chevrolet SS. 14 Chevy SS.

SPEAKER_05

That's a loud.

SPEAKER_03

It's a four-door. There you go. It's a four-door. I I I didn't I don't even remember that model, but whatever. 2014 Chevy SS.

SPEAKER_05

12,000. I don't need to know anymore. 12 grand.

SPEAKER_03

12 grand. 30. 30. He's good. You're close. Did Heitzman chime in?

SPEAKER_04

David Lowe says uh 11,000. 11,000? George says 12,999.

SPEAKER_03

How about$36,750?

SPEAKER_04

Well, Heitzman came in at 41 there at the end. Oh, he did? Yeah. What did you say, Ben?

SPEAKER_01

30.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Very close. Okay, last car. A 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible. I mean, you can you can envision a wax figure of Kennedy in the backseat. 63 Lincoln Continental. It's probably had a repaint, it's probably been redone, but it's still a 63 Lincoln Continental.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's got suicide doors on it.

SPEAKER_05

Well, not this is a two-door. It's a convertible. Two-door convertible. All right, I'm gonna go uh 21. I'm just guessing. I'm just shooting in the air there.

SPEAKER_01

They've been all over the place. I'm gonna go 70.

SPEAKER_03

You're close.$55,650. And it's probably full of rust, but somebody came along and said, Mama sure would like that.

SPEAKER_05

I got me a Lincoln.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Well, see, wasn't that fun? No. Yeah, that was fun.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. And you can play this like next weekend we'll do it, and you can get online and play it with us.

unknown
