In another episode of In Wheel Time Car Talk, we introduced a successful auto shop program in Napperville, Illinois, led by Greg Ditch. Greg has had a lifelong passion with the automotive world, and is sharing that with any young person that is interested. He has been successful in growing a struggling high school program into a full enrolment program with after school sessions to help fill the knowledge void.
One of the students has graduated and gone on to UTI, specializing in diesel. But Alina Aubakirova never forgot the program that got her interested in automobiles and is now working with the program on a special build. The 'team' is putting together and entry to run in the Texas Mile - a speed event in South Texas. In this episode, we talk with Alina and Greg Ditch about the program, the S10 they are building and some of the plans they have.
